ATTENTION: Important Information for Members on Friday Health Plans of Nevada Members
Friday Health Plans will end operations on August 31, 2023. Nevada Health Link has opened a Special Enrollment Period for those affected starting now through October 31, 2023. More importantly, consumers must actively shop for a new plan on or before August 31st to avoid a gap in coverage.
A notification of decertification letter has been sent from Nevada Health Link and a Special Enrollment Period notice has been sent to all Nevadans who are enrolled in Friday Health Plans, both on and off the Exchange from the Receivership of Friday Health Plans, NV. That notice is attached for reference. Nevada Health Link will also send out notices to consumers by way of email campaign.
Starting on Monday, July 31st, Nevada Health Link will initiate a comprehensive automated calling campaign where the call center plans to make outreach to both on and off Exchange FHP-NV consumers.
IMPORTANT DATES
- July 25, 2023: Special Enrollment Period Begins
- August 31, 2023: Last Day to Enroll Without a Gap in Coverage
- August 31, 2023: Friday Health Plans of Nevada Coverage Ends
- October 31, 2023: Last Day of Special Enrollment Period
- November 1, 2023: Open Enrollment Period on Nevada Health Link Begins
