On Thursday, September 1, Nevada Health Link sent a “Pre-Renewal Notice” to consumers encouraging them to visit their online portal application and/or contact their broker to update any current information prior to October 1 in an effort to ensure that the Exchange has their most current information prior to running the renewal batch process.
Proactively inviting consumers to update information now is intended to save time, updates, and work during the Open Enrollment Period, and will present consumers and agents/brokers with the most accurate renewal information when those batch jobs are run in October. Having up to date information prior to the auto-renewal process, will minimize errors in eligibility for auto-renewed plans in 2023, such as loss of enrollment eligibility or the amount of eligible APTC.
We understand that your consumers may have questions, but please assure them that this is a proactive effort to make their experience during renewals and open enrollment more efficient and accurate.
